Casinacho Games

★★★★★ 4.6 Editor rating

Casinacho Games is one of those apps that looks tiny on the store page and then quietly eats your commute for two weeks. It's a bundle of small arcade-style challenges — tapping, timing, dragging shapes into place — held together by a colourful map you unlock stage by stage. Each mini-game runs about a minute, which makes it perfect for short bursts.

What surprised us is how well the controls hold up. Everything is one-thumb friendly, the hit detection is forgiving without feeling automatic, and the difficulty curve is gentle at first before it starts asking for real precision. We especially liked the rhythm-based rounds, where you tap in time with a bouncing marker and the whole screen pulses along.

There's no pressure to rush anything. You can replay stages to beat your own best, and the progress map gives a nice sense of moving forward without ever feeling grindy. It's simply a well-made, good-natured pocket game.
